New Changes in Dropbox Posted on October 23rd, 2010 by

What’s new in Dropbox, everybody’s favorite online backup, syncing, and sharing service?  Probably many of you have already discovered the life-changing impact of Dropbox for syncing files across various computers, saving your documents safely in the cloud as well as on your computer, and sharing documents with colleagues and students.  But what you probably don’t know is that the people at Dropbox have been working tirelessly to make Dropbox even more useful and easy to navigate.

So what new features can you use?  You can right-click on Dropbox files or folders to make them instantly shareable or right-click to get the web link to a file or folder that you can send to friends.  You can automatically save and share screenshots to your public folder, and double your free referral storage space by recommending Dropbox to students or colleagues who have an email that ends with .edu.  There are also some new applications that help others upload files to your Dropbox, even if they don’t have a Dropbox account themselves, such as Stuff My Dropbox and Airdropper.
